Digital Learning at Prestonfield

Over the last 10 months we have been fortunate to receive an update in our digital resources through the CEC Empowered Learning project. At Prestonfield this allows all teachers and early years practitioners, to have their own device to plan and deliver learning and teaching. It has also allowed for our Primary 6 and Primary 7 learners to have 1:1 iPad access. Both classes are growing in confidence in recording and sharing their learning in apps such as One Note. Our P1s- P5s have benefited from 25 new shared Gen8 iPads and have enjoyed exploring the new opportunities that they bring.  As a whole school we will continue to be using the Teams platform to share Home Learning.

Moving forwards, we are looking to continue to grow our digital literacy knowledge and confidence as we develop a skills progression plan.
